INTRODUCTION
순간을 그린다.
표정은 스쳐 지나가고, 시선은 머물지 않으며, 감정은 끝없이 흘러간다.
모든 것이 변하는 무상(無常)한 세계에서, 나는 대상의 찰나를 마음에 붙잡고 화면에 담는다.
선은 움직임의 흔적이고, 색은 그 순간의 온도이다. 여백은 시공간이고 세계와의 연결이다.
불교에서는 관계로서 존재가 형성된다고 말한다. 나의 작업 속 인물 또한 관계 속에서 변화하고 연결을 소망하며 살아가고 있다.

I Paint the Moment.
Expressions pass in an instant, gazes never linger, and emotions flow endlessly.
In this impermanent world where everything is constantly changing, I hold the fleeting moments of my subjects in my heart and capture them on the canvas.
Lines are traces of movement, and colors are the temperature of each moment. Empty space embodies time and space, connecting us to the world.
Buddhism teaches that existence is formed through relationships. The figures in my work also change through their relationships, living with a longing to connect.

INTRODUCTION
꽃은 가장 좋은 곳이 아니라, 자기만의 자리에서 피어납니다.
저는 해외에서 살아가며 마주한 도시의 풍경을 전통 민화의 언어로 담아냅니다. 서로 다른 문화가 만나는 공간에서 살아가는 사람들의 삶과 기억, 그리고 그 안에서 피어나는 순간들은 저에게 가장 큰 이야기이자 작업의 시작입니다.
그 도시는 저와 가족이 함께 살아가는 삶의 터전이기도 합니다. 그곳에서 자라나는 아이들이 세상의 기준보다 자신의 가능성을 믿으며, 각자의 자리에서 당당하게 피어나기를 바라는 마음을 꽃과 도시의 풍경에 담아 그려갑니다.
제 그림 속 꽃은 저마다의 삶을 살아가는 사람들을 의미합니다. 서로 다른 자리에서 자신만의 이야기를 만들어가는 사람들의 모습이 꽃이 되고, 도시가 되어 하나의 풍경을 이룹니다.
저의 그림이 잠시 걸음을 멈추고 각자의 자리에서 피어나고 있는 자신을 만나는 작은 쉼이 되었으면 좋겠습니다.

As we try to keep pace with others, we may eventually lose sight of the direction we truly wish to follow and the emotions we genuinely feel.
The artist raises questions about this way of life in contemporary society.
Vivid colors, familiar yet unfamiliar imagery, and layers of overlapping expressions reveal the complex emotions and individual identities that lie beneath outward appearances.
The figures in the works encourage us to find our own path in our own way, rather than simply following a predetermined course.
This exhibition goes beyond interpreting the artworks.
It is designed as a space where viewers can pause and reflect on their own emotions and the direction of their lives.
Stepping away, even briefly, from a life shaped by the standards of others, the exhibition offers a moment to stand before the artworks and truly face oneself.
