Art is often thought to belong within the walls of a gallery, or to exist only for special occasions. Yet the two artists featured in this exhibition present a different possibility—one in which art becomes an integral part of our everyday lives. Their work suggests that paintings are not merely objects to be admired from a distance, but can also become part of the way we live, wear, use, and experience the world around us.
Through the intersection of painting, design, and various everyday mediums, the artists naturally blur the boundaries between art and life.
